I am Lauren Johnson, a Fine Art photographer based in Chicago, Illinois.

I am originally from Northeast Ohio.

I come from a family who has taught me not to read a book by its cover.

I had three amazing Women of the Arts to encourage my creative journey. My mom, aunt, and grandmother.

I value honesty, kindness, and an open mind above many aspects of life.

Growing up in a small town in Ohio, a town that has been compared to the fictional place Narina as it is near nothing and hard to find, I grew to love the Arts in all of their forms. I was involved in almost every creative activity my town had to offer to me. Such as Band, Choir, Theatre, Writing, Painting, and so much more.  I filled my days with running from practices to rehearsals, loving every minute of it, and wanting to learn more. 

The encouragement of people in my life combined with my creative drive led me to choose to pursue a career in the Arts, specifically Photography where I still find myself discovering new things every day.
